Two times the Dutch family name "Honig"


"Honig" is an old Dutch word for "honing" (honey). So when your family name is Honig and when you are looking for an emblem or something like that, then it's logical, that you look at the bees. For sure the founders of two Dutch firms have done that:

This firm produces farinaceous food like macaroni, Spaghetti, etc.

This meter stamp is used by a wholesale trade in paper.

A firm founded by Mr. Honig (the beehive) and Mr. Riem (the pack of paper). These two names are double luck: a "riem" - in English 'ream' - is 480 sheets of paper (at present 500 sheets.)
