Honeybees of Namibia

In May 2004 Namibia issued a series of 5 stamps, a bloc and two FDC's under the name "honeybees of Namibia". In Namibia we are talking about the Apis mellifera scutellata, mentioned on every stamp. Also the English flower names are found on the stamps. Well done Namibia.

In the set of 5 stamps are stamps with a value indication. The other 3 stamps have more philatelic importance.

This stamp is ment for "Standard mail", say mail under 20 grs In other countries - see Ukraine beekeeper with log hives  - we know such stamps with the value indication "E" or "A".

This stamp is for the "post card rate". So I suppose the franking value is lower than 'Standard mail'

New for the honeybee philatelist is this stamp with the text "inland registered mail paid". So the stamp takes the place of the registration strip. It is not clear where to find the registration number.
