Hintergrund-Info: Venda war ein 6.875 km² großes Homeland im nördlichen Südafrika, in der heutigen Provinz Limpopo. Es wurde für die Ethnie der Venda gegründet. Das Homeland bestand aus einer Serie unzusammenhängender Territorien im damaligen Transvaal, mit einem Hauptteil und einer Hauptexklave. 1990 wurde die Regierung durch einen Volksaufstand vorübergehend abgesetzt.
